Resolved Question: What is a tranciever module?

I have a couple of what looks to be computer parts, possibly for a server (my father has a few in his office). I googled the product number and I just keep seeing random prices, and that it is called a tranciever module. I can't find any like this, of the Cisco brand. I was wondering if anyone could actually explain what it does, and what I could get for them, and where the hell do I sell them?
