Resolved Question: What is the difference between Docsis 2.0 and Docsis 3.0?

I use comcast and about 4 months ago they sent a letter recommending me to upgrade my wireless n router from a 2.0 to a 3.0, at first i ignored it but then started having major problems with my router (going extremely slow, disconnecting, overall just being a pain).
